چکیده
Rhizodegradation is one of the best methods for effective removal dangerous polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons pollutants from soil. This operative due to high persistent, non-bioavailability nature PAHs and combined, sequential reactions bacteria present in rhizosphere plants. We have conducted pot-culture method study degradation three compounds namely phenanthrene, anthracene pyrene artificially contaminated soils non-rhizosphere soil treatments blackgram(Vignamungo L.) that augmented by two potential degraders Bacillus cereus CPOU13 subtilis SPC14 isolated naturally 90days. HPLC studies revealed percentages were more where selected strains over non-augmented soils. The recorded non-augmented. Pyrene, a molecular weight degraded maximum 96.24% treatment with while moderate non-autoclaved contain natural microbial communities. counting bacterial populations during experimental period other gradually increased first day, reached 60days became almost consistent 90days all treatments. It was also observed compared With these results it has been predicted closely associated increasing degrading may consume quantity their metabolic activities Key words: Rhizodegradation, PAHs, HPLC, pot culture.

Reclassification of bioindicator strains Bacillus subtilis DSM 675 and Bacillus subtilis DSM 2277 as Bacillus atrophaeus.
On the basis of high DNA-DNA reassociation values and confirmatory automated RiboPrint analysis, two aerobic spore-forming strains hitherto allocated to Bacillus subtilis and used as bioindicators (DSM 675, hot-air sterilization control; DSM 2277, ethylene oxide sterilization control) are reclassified as Bacillus atrophaeus.

The conversion of ketomethiobutyrate to methionine has been previously examined in a number of organisms, wherein the aminotransferases responsible for the reaction have been found to be members of the Ia subfamily (L. C. Berger, J. Wilson, P. Wood, and B. J. Berger, J. Bacteriol. 183:4421-4434, 2001). The genome of Bacillus subtilis has been found to contain no subfamily Ia aminotransferase se...
متن کاملStrategy for identification of Bacillus cereus and Bacillus thuringiensis strains closely related to Bacillus anthracis.
Bacillus cereus strains that are genetically closely related to B. anthracis can display anthrax-like virulence traits (A. R. Hoffmaster et al., Proc. Natl. Acad. Sci. USA 101:8449-8454, 2004). Hence, approaches that rapidly identify these "near neighbors" are of great interest for the study of B. anthracis virulence mechanisms, as well as to prevent the use of such strains for B. anthracis-bas...
متن کاملDetection of enterotoxic Bacillus cereus and Bacillus thuringiensis strains by PCR analysis.
Many strains of Bacillus cereus cause gastrointestinal diseases, and the closely related insect pathogen B. thuringiensis has also been involved in outbreaks of diarrhea. The diarrheal types of diseases are attributed to enterotoxins. Two different enterotoxic protein complexes, hemolysin BL (HBL) and nonhemolytic enterotoxin (NHE), and an enterotoxic protein, enterotoxin T, have been character...
متن کاملGenetic diversity among Bacillus anthracis, Bacillus cereus and Bacillus thuringiensis strains using repetitive element polymorphism-PCR.
Repetitive element polymorphism-PCR (REP-PCR) is one of the tools that has been used to elucidate genetic diversity of related microorganisms. Using the MB1 primer, REP-PCR fingerprints from 110 Bacillus strains within the "B. cereus group" have identified eighteen distinct categories, while other more distantly related bacterial species fell within six additional categories. All Bacillus anthr...
